Thane 2011 realty a major slump

The sale of apartments and commercial space in Thane city showed a major drop over this year.
The shooting realty prices and the rising mortgage rates are considered as base factors for severe plunge in realty sales.
Even though the rental deals have seen growth to some extent, the housing units sold or resold has decreased from 24,601 to 16,775 units for year 2011.
Similar is the scenario faced by the commercial spaces also.
