The residents of apartments in Chennai city are now becoming more Eco friendly when compared to other cities. The awareness is more important among the buyers and the builders.
The Eco friendliness is basically the use and reuse of the natural resources in the apartment premises. As an example we can quote; rain water harvesting, waste water recycling and make use of solar energy.
A manual in form of checklist is being prepared by a voluntary organization based in Chennai.
According to the builders association that the manual will be very helpful for the builders to know what to do for constructing an Eco friendly home.
