The Pune Municipal Corporation spent over Rs52 lakh to repair Potholes and Bad Roads

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), Pune road department head Pramod Nirbhavane reported saying that they have completed all road repairs and only in some areas the work is being carried on. However the civic body has appointed six private agencies for the construction of road repair and also provide labor meanwhile the PMC provides material needed for the construction works. The road department had received nearly 93 complaints from the citizens of Pune in regard to the bad roads. He added saying that the department has utilized Rs 56, 96,000 for road repairs carried out nearly for a week.
Mayor Mohansingh Rajpal also reported over this issue saying that the PMC is aiming efforts to repair all the city bad roads. The PMC has ensured to overcome these problems and also the administrations has been asked to recover the cost of road from the contractor in charge of those roads.
