Traffic management in Chennai annoy citizens
The citizens of Chennai curse themselves for being pedestrians of the city!
The road accident cases have increased so much that the citizens have developed a fear of even going out on the city main roads.
The Chennai City Traffic Police report revealed 38 per cent of the total number of road accident deaths for the year 2011.
Death rate of pedestrians in Chennai has increased to 551 in number during year 2011.
According to Chennai traffic cops, elderly pedestrians are more prone to road accidents during evening hours of 5 and 10 pm. Also, it is the commuters mistake who has major hand in accidents driving tired after a days work.
It is finally the pedestrians who are in trouble midst the poor traffic management! It is high time that Chennai traffic police department should take necessary precautions to ensure sooth flow of traffic.
