Under construction building found tilting in Bangalore
A five-storey building, an under constructed apartment at Electronic city in Bangalore was seen tilting one side.
This comes as a shocking news to the citizens of Bangalore. The incident was noticed by the residents living in the surrounding apartments.
Also, this made a creaking sound which alerted the whole neighborhood!
Follow up to this residents lodged a complaint immediately and police intern informed fire and emergency services.
Soon after the emergency services rushed the spot, people living in the adjacent buildings of Angel Heritage and Daffodils were evacuated.
Coming down to the pros and cons of the incident, a Civil aid Techno Clinic Pvt. Ltd expert say that the pillars were not strong enough to withstand the whole weight of the building.
Also, the one side tilt of the building easily proves the poor quality followed to lay down its foundations. For a temporary adjustments to one side of the building sand bags have been given as support.
Now, many of the property buyers as well as the builders and contractors themselves have learnt from this incident. Usage of low quality or illegal construction materials is any day a threat to the society!
