VDA plans for real estate 2012
In the recent 2012 annual budget, Rs 20,231.04 lakh was approved to Varanasi Development Authority (VDA).
With the follow up of this, the vice chairman of VDA RP Goswami declared saying that Rs 17 crore aide will be given by state government for selling plots and buildings.
Also, during the year 2011 VDA had planned to spend Rs 35 crore on improving civic facilities like; parks, road and parks construction in which around Rs 28 crore was spent on building construction.
To improve the present real estate scenarios certain amendments have been made in the group housing projects. In which special offers in 10 percent flats for economically weaker section and lower income group have been granted.
To regularize the illegally constructed buildings, real estate board has launched drives to keep track of them. Over all with the release of new budget, VDA has decided to seek loans from HUDCO of around Rs 68 crore to improve present building scenarios.
