Waste segregation awareness campaign at HSR layout
Bangalore was in a glee to see door-to-door awareness campaign in concern with importance of waste segregation at source held recently.
Yes, Bangalore city is witnessing happy times as common people are coming forward to save their own environment.
The residents, volunteers from Jain University, Christ University and Intel recently participated in the door-to-door awareness campaign.
Also, the HSR Layout Residents Welfare Association (RWA) Sector 1 in association with Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and Jain Group of Institutions headed the awareness campaign.
Around 175 volunteers covered 2,500 households to educate residents on the importance of segregation at source.
The awareness campaign was a successful with the encouragement received from the HSR layout residents in presence of Member of Solid Waste Management Round Table (SWMRT) Ramakanth.
