Water grievances in Bangalore
Drinking water shortage has turned into a serious issue for the residents of Sanjaynagar Ward in Bangalore.
There is no end for the digging of borewells in the city.
As and when the days are progressing, the number of housing constructions are increasing and similarly people are digging borewells.
But, it is strange that none of them are aware of this mass digging!
If every house starts digging for the borewells, it is quite natural that the water level goes down. Similar is the scenario in Sanjaynagar Ward, wherein midst 14 borewells many of them failed to yield water.
The locality residents say that they are facing tough time, with the acute shortage of water supply. The private tankers in the city are charging a huge sum making good money out of this terrific situation.
Also the residents have requested Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to follow up and do the needful!
