The water here got severely polluted, mainly because of the failure of the 722 crore Musi river front project. There were 5 STPs to be installed as per the project, out of which three at Attapur, Nagole and Amberpet major ones were not functioning efficiently. Miyapur is definitely a good spot, but the traffic problem is a major headache here. I guess that cant be avoided because of the ongoing metro construction and all. Another major thing that the government wants to do is make the radial and internal roads better. For example the Manikonda - Puppalaguda region is in a horrible state right now because of the road situation. People here have to travel the narrow pipeline road, go to Raidurg and only then reach Gachibowli. what a waste of time and fuel. Here's some specifics on how long the draining of the lake. The tank area is 513. 14 feet against which 512 feet is available. IF the water from here is releasesd at approximately 400 cusecs a day it would take about a month and a half to drain it. Yea, this place is close to the center of the city and thats is why the rate here is high. You can opt for rented houses otherwise. I am not sure but i think the present price for rent in here is rs 10 to rs 12 per sq ft.
