Delhi metro to extend till Bahadurgarh

Delhi MetroSoon Delhi Metro will be extended from Mundka to Bahadurgarh, which is in the outskirts of Delhi and its national capital regions. Haryana government is to sign the agreement with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

Construction process of Delhi Metro is awaiting final signature of the agreement between the Haryana government and the DMRC.

This project will extended till Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar district of Haryana and soon the project’s construction will start after the final approval of the project.

According to a government official, the state will be contributing Rs. 787.96 crore out of total expense of 1991 crore.

They have also granted the plan of Urban Local Bodies Department to rationalise property tax in the municipalities of the state, by issuing a draft of the amended notification.

As per the amended notification, vacant residential land up to an area of 250 sq yards shall be exempted. Additionally, there should not be any charge of property tax on a vacant plot of one acre and above, which is for horticulture and agriculture purpose only.
